GOOD NEWS
Grant received locally

Women in Transition is very grateful to the Steuben County Community Foundation for receiving a “Remodeling & Rebuilding for Tomorrow” grant in the amount of $7,500 in March of 2013.   Since WIT is now 10 years old and most of their furnishing were donated to begin with, there are many household furnishing that need to be refurbished and/or replaced.

How the GRANT funds will be used:
The meeting/gathering room has been remodeled with fresh paint, lighting, a picture window and new furniture.  Program materials have been purchased to enhance the offerings to the residents to continue their recovery.
