Scrapin’ & Stampin’ Fundraiser

A full day of scrap
booking & stamping provided
a super fundraiser for WIT.

RECOVERY HOUSE GETS helping hand... Steuben County United Way is providing $3000 dollar grant for HVAC to maintain the residence.
Women in Transition is very grateful to
the Steuben County Community Foundation for receiving a “Remodeling & Rebuilding for Tomorrow” grant in the amount of
$7,500 in March 2013.
Since WIT is now 10 years old and most of their furnishing were donated to begin with, there are many household furnishing that need to be refurbished and/or replaced.
JUNE 2013, WIT Angola just signed
with Steuben County
Community Foundation "Women's Fund" grant $500
for improvements on the
recovery house, and $500 for indigent funds!!!!
How the GRANT funds will be used:
The meeting & gathering room
has been remodeled with fresh paint, lighting, a picture window and new furniture.
Program materials have been
purchased to enhance the offerings to the residents to
continue their recovery.
WIT Residents Giving Back to Community:
Residents assist on scheduled workdays as announced by TLC Board
Residents volunteer as requested by Council on Aging management

Resident volunteers for various community projects as requested and scheduled by the Kiwanis Club
